We left the security of established careers to build something of our own. Looking back today, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we ever made.
Starting maxGEO Messtechnik was never going to be easy.
There were plenty of obstacles along the way. There were people who doubted us, projects we didn't win, sleepless nights, financial uncertainty, and moments when the easier option would have been to give up.
But our entrepreneurial spirit, our passion for geotechnical monitoring, and our desire to build an independent company that truly puts customers first were stronger than all the obstacles.
Over the last decade, we have been fortunate to work on fascinating infrastructure projects, build lasting partnerships, develop innovative monitoring solutions, and support our clients in making their projects safer and more successful. We have learned that technology matters - but trust, integrity, and collaboration matter even more.
The journey has not always been straightforward. New opportunities emerged, challenges made us stronger, people left for new adventures and every experience helped shape the company we are today.
We have also been incredibly fortunate to work alongside outstanding partners. Companies such as GEODAT Ingenieurgesellschaft für Bau- und Vermessungswesen mbH, Moser Jaritz & Partner ZT GmbH, and Senceive have been far more than business partners - they have been trusted companions on our journey. Their confidence, expertise, collaboration, and friendship have helped shape maxGEO over the past decade. They represent the many customers and partners who have contributed to our success, and for that we are deeply grateful.
Today, I simply want to say thank you.
Thank you to every customer who trusted a young company.
Thank you to our partners who believed in us and supported us along the way.
Thank you to everyone who worked with us, challenged us, recommended us, and helped shape maxGEO into what it is today.
We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together - even more excited about what lies ahead.
This October, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary at the Geomechanics Colloquium in Salzburg. If you're attending, please stop by and say hello. We'd love to celebrate this milestone with you, thank you in person, and raise a glass to the next chapter.
Here's to the first 10 years - and to many more.
